CHOQUEQUIRAO 05 DAYS

DAY 01

The pick up will be made at 4:00 am from your hotel or place of your preference within the city of Cusco, we will go in a private transport for four hours to Capuliyoc, where our cook will serve breakfast and we will get ready to start the adventure .

Capuliyoc - chikiska - santa rosa

Once the walk begins, we will realize that it is a unique place, with one of the deepest canyons in Peru, the Apurímac canyon will be our guide that will take us to reach our first camp, we will start with a two-hour descent to chikiska where we will have lunch, then we will continue descending for another hour to rosalina beach where we will cool off due to the suffocating heat and then begin a two-hour ascent to santa rosa, our final destination on the first day.

DAY 02

Today we will arrive at Shockquirao, a place with a lot of history that holds many mysteries about who inhabited Choquqeuirao, since like Machupichu it was abandoned and its true function is unknown.

The awakening will be done at 5 am with an energetic coca tea, 30 minutes After our cook will not delight with the great breakfast, once we are ready and after appreciating the magnificent panorama we will head to our new day of adventure.

Santa Rosa - Marampata - Choquequirao.

Very early in the morning we will start with a two hour ascent to the town of Marampata where we will take a break and continue for two more hours to our final destination, we will arrive at the Shockquirao archaeological park and our cook will serve our lunch, after lunch we will enter the Choquequirao archaeological park where our guide will show us the first part of said place.

DAY 03.

We will wake up in Shockquirao, very early in the morning to appreciate the sunrise, a unique spectacle due to the location of the citadel. Then we will return to our designated place to have our breakfast, and continue with the exploration in this enigmatic citadel.

Choquequirao.

Construction that like Machupicchu was abandoned for some reason, Shockquirao continues to keep a lot of information because the archaeological park was excavated and discovered in only 30%, that means that 70% is still covered by the forest and hiding much Information about Choquequirao, its terraces with flame designs on the walls attracted much attention from scientists around the world, constructions and buildings on slopes that defy any engineering law make this a unique and unforgettable place that we are sure you will enjoy .

DAY 04

Today we will leave the surprising archaeological park of Shockquirao to return to Cusco, but unlike the way out, the return will be through a different section to be able to enjoy the great view that only this place can give us, the landscape and the nature that surrounds this place is unique, being one of the native jewels of this region.

The awakening will be done at 7 am with an energetic coca tea, 30 minutes After our cook will not delight with the great breakfast, once we are ready and after appreciating the magnificent panorama we will head off to our new day of adventure.

Choquequirao - san Ignacio - parrot village.

We start this day with a goodbye to Choquequirao to descend deep into the Apurímac canyon and reach San Ignacio where we will have lunch, to be able to enjoy beautiful waterfalls and spectacular landscapes will be a very easy thing to do, we will take a small slope that will not take to Villa Loros, where it will be our camping point and we will wait for sunset and then our cook will serve dinner.

DAY 05

A totally relaxing day, we finally return to Cusco proud of having completed one of the most impressive treks in the world, named in many magazines, Shockquirao is that jewel of the Incas that survived despite time and that now undoubtedly has all the merits to be compared with machupicchu the other Inca city.

Villa parrots - saywite --coneq - cusco.

After breakfast we will take our transport that will take us to saywite where we will explore an archaeological park, we continue in our transport to get to Conoq, incredible hot springs that are located exactly one step away from the Apurímac River, where we will have lunch and then continue our tour back to Cusco.
