INKA JUNGLE 04 DAYS
This new way of getting to Machupicchu is considered one of the most complete, because it covers all the activities to make this an unforgettable trip.
The inka jungle was designed for that adventurous spirit, because it offers a descent by bicycle that begins in the Andes and ends at the gates of the Amazon, the experience of rafting in the Urubamba river with its rapids that will make this experience very extreme, we also have an original inka trail that connects the different communities along our journey, undoubtedly one of the best alternatives to visit machupicchu.
DAY 01
The pick up will be done from your hotel or place of your choice within the city of Cusco at 6:00 am.
Cusco - abra Malaga - santa maría.
We take our transport to Ollantaytambo our first stop, in Ollantaytambo we will prepare the last details and also some time to have a coffee, then we continue for an hour and a half to the Malaga Open, where our guide will not give a safety talk and deliver The bicycle and all the protective equipment to make this experience one of the best, the descent by bicycle will be 4 hours (51 km)
Moments of adrenaline and dreamy scenarios, arriving at the town of Huamanmarca we will have finished the descent by bicycle and then take our transport for one hour to Santa María, town where we will have lunch and spend the night, after lunch you will decide if you want to be part of the rafting (optional). Dinner will be served at approximately 7:00 p.m. and then the guide will explain us in detail about the next day.
DAY 02 .
This day will be one of the most demanded on a physical level, it will be a day of walking through the Cusco jungle enjoying the flora and fauna so that we can finally relax in the thermal baths in Santa Teresa.
Breakfast will be served in the restaurant indicated by the guide at 6:00 am.
Santa Maria - qocalmayo - santa teresa.
We started the walk doing a flat section, passing through many fruit, coffee, cocoa plantations, very friendly people. Then we make an hour of ascent to the monkey house, where our guide will explain everything about flora and fauna, then we start the walk on an original inka road that will lead us to the top of the mountains, 2 hours later we will arrive at the town called Quellomayo where we will have our lunch, after a well-deserved rest we will depart following the Urubamba river for some paths full of vegetation, hanging bridges; to finally reach cocalmayo (thermal baths). Two hours later we go to Santa Teresa where we will have dinner and spend the night.
DAY 03
Day in which we can see Machupicchu from an angle that few have, llaqtapata is an archaeological center that is located north of the citadel of Machupicchu, a privileged place from where we will have a panoramic view of all the mountains that guard the Inca city.
Breakfast will be served in the restaurant designated by your guide at 6:00 am.
Santa teresa - Luqmabamba - llaqtapata - hydroelectric - hot waters.
We will take a transport for 30 minutes from Santa Teresa to Luqmabamba and start the first 03 hours of our walk, to take an original Inca trail that is 40% fully preserved, it is this same road that will take us to Llaqtapata, to Being able to observe the different mountain ranges that guard Machupicchu, Llaqtapata will be the first archaeological center that we will see before Machupicchu, a place with many mysteries and questions to be answered, then we will begin the 2.30 hour descent to the hydroelectric plant, where we will have lunch in one of the restaurants local, then we will make the last trip for 03 hours, which takes us to walk along the Urubamba river and next to the railroad (safe place) and having as a final destination Aguas Calientes,When we get to Aguas Calientes we will settle in our hotel and then dinner in a restaurant in the city.
DAY 04
The most important day of our entire tour, machupicchu considered one of the 7 wonders of the world, is located at 2410 meters, on a capricious terrain defying many laws of engineering and architecture, a place that keeps in its walls and buildings all the magic of which may have been one of the last Inca cities after the arrival of the Spanish.
Machupicchu - Ollantaytambo - Cusco.
The archaeological park of Machupicchu opens from 6:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., keep in mind that the only ways to go up to Machupicchu are: walking for an hour and a half or taking a bus for 25 minutes (cost 12 dollars), After entering the Machupicchu park where our guide will show us and explain each corner of Machupicchu for an average of 2:30 hours and then you will make your own tour of the Inca city.
IMPORTANT : in case you want to go to huaynapicchu or machupicchu mountain, the reservation is only online and has an additional cost, it cannot be booked on the same day.
After visiting Machupicchu we will return to the town of Aguas Calientes to have lunch and then wait for our train that returns us to Ollantaytambo and then take our bus to Cusco and we will leave you at your hotel or place of your choice
