TREK LARES 04 DAYS

DAY 01 .

Today we will start very early in the morning to go to Lares and enjoy the thermal baths, where we will serve breakfast and enjoy some thermal baths then we will head to our camp.

We will leave very early in the morning, we will pass by your hotel or place of your choice within the city of Cusco at 5:00 am.

Cusco - hot springs - quiswarani .

We will depart from Cusco towards the Sacred Valley of the Incas, very early in the morning it will give us the opportunity to see how the sun falls on the mountains that enclose this valley, when we arrive at the town of Calca we will make a stop to visit the local market, being able Observe how even the local people maintain those customs and traditions that characterize them from other communities, we continue our tour and go to lares (thermal baths), where our cook will serve our energetic breakfast, also enjoy the thermal baths.

After enjoying the refreshing thermo-medicinal waters. We head towards our new adventure, our transport will take us to the beginning of the walk where we will be greeted by a great waterfall with a unique panorama of the area, we continue ascending for about two hours until we reach the lagoon area where we will enjoy some views unique and also our delicious lunch, then we will make the last ascent of the day to the pass of willqaqasa, (the highest point of the first day). Then we descend for two hours to arrive at our camp, the community of quiswarani, a place of much tradition and customs, because its inhabitants still preserve many traditions and customs that their ancestors left as inheritance, then our cook will serve our dinner.

DAY 02

Today is a challenging day, the journey becomes difficult, but the reward at the end of the day will be the best, a day full of adventures and impressive views that will definitely be the perfect complement to the trip you are looking for.

The awakening will be done at 5 am with an energetic coca tea, 30 minutes later our cook will not delight with a great breakfast, once we are ready and after appreciating the magnificent panorama we will head to our new day of adventure.

Quiswarani - Abra Pachacuteq - Cancha Cancha

We start the walk surrounded by mountains that are inexplicably lost high in the clouds, a day to see nature at its best and understand why even many locals believe in mountains as gods or divine beings, without a doubt today is the day you were waiting.

Minutes after starting the walk we will make a four-hour ascent to the highest point of our walk, the Abra de Pachacuteq, a magical place with a lot of connection with nature. Then the descent begins for an hour until our lunch, where we will recover all our energy, after enjoying our delicious lunch we continue descending for three more hours to our camp, the community of cancha cancha, a place where approximately 30 families live, we will visit some houses to to be able to share a bit of their experience and feel part of their history, then our cook will serve our dinner.

DAY 03

Today our walk ends and we go to the Sacred Valley to know a little of all the wonder that this keeps.

Cancha cancha - ollantaytambo - hot waters .

Today will be very entertaining and with a lot of diversity, we will visit part of the sacred valley we will know a lot about its history, tradition and culture, without a doubt the experience you were waiting for.

We start the day with a very quiet descent of four hours to the community of Huaran located in the sacred valley where our cook will serve lunch and our transport will be waiting for us, after lunch we say goodbye to our team (cook and muleteer) who were In our care, we will take the transport for 20 minutes to go to maras, a place of salt extraction where they will have the chance to explore the place and learn more about its history then our transport will take us for 45 minutes to Ollantaytambo, where we will have dinner in a restaurant and we will take the train to Aguas Calientes, we will arrive at Aguas Calientes at approximately 9:00 p.m. where your guide will install you at your hotel and prepare for the most important day.

DAY 04.

The most important day of our entire tour, machupicchu considered one of the 7 wonders of the world, is located at 2410 meters, on a capricious terrain defying many laws of engineering and architecture, a place that keeps in its walls and buildings all the magic of which may have been one of the last Inca cities after the arrival of the Spanish.

Machupicchu - Ollantaytambo - Cusco.

The archaeological park of Machupicchu opens from 6:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., keep in mind that the only ways to go up to Machupicchu are: walking for an hour and a half or taking a bus for 25 minutes (cost 12 dollars), After entering the Machupicchu park where our guide will show us and explain each corner of Machupicchu for an average of 2:30 hours and then you will make your own tour of the Inca city.

IMPORTANT: in case you want to go to huaynapicchu or machupicchu mountain, the reservation is only online and has an additional cost, it cannot be booked on the same day.

After visiting Machupicchu, we will return to the town of Aguas Calientes to have lunch and then wait for our train that returns us to Ollantaytambo and then take our bus to Cusco and we will leave you at your hotel or place of your choice.
